Privacy & website activity

What gets counted

I use website activity to see which pages are useful and whether the booking form is working. This includes page visits, approximate active time, scroll milestones, links clicked, and the steps reached in the contact and catering forms.

Visits use a temporary identifier stored in this browser tab. A visit is renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity when you open another page. This does not identify you by name. I don't record what you type into a form as analytics, record your screen, or use advertising trackers.

Analytics keeps the page path and the referring website's domain, without URL query strings. Raw IP addresses are not saved in the analytics database. A short-lived hashed identifier is used to limit automated requests.

When you send an inquiry

The details you submit are saved in Wizard Desk so I can respond and plan the work with you. When activity tracking is enabled, the inquiry can also include the page you came from and the page where you used the form.

Where it goes

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Wizard Desk and its database use Lovable and Supabase. Activity is displayed in my private Desk. Detailed anonymous activity is shown for the last 90 days, and older events are pruned as new activity arrives. Information attached to an inquiry remains with that inquiry.

Your choice

Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. You can also turn off activity tracking here. The forms still work.
